Glendora, CA(Football) -- The Citrus College athletic department announces that it has received a letter of resignation from Head Football Coach Kevin Emerson. Emerson will step down from his post after eight years at the helm of the Fighting Owls.
“We appreciate all of Kevin's hard work and dedication the past eight years,” said Citrus College Dean of Physical Education and Athletics Jody Wise. “We wish him and his family the best as they move forward.”
In eight seasons Emerson compiled a 48-35 overall record and a 39-16 conference record.
“I appreciate my time at Citrus College. It’s been a great experience,” Emerson said. “At this time my family and I have decided to explore other opportunities.”
A replacement for Coach Emerson has not yet been named.
