Glendora, CA (Football) -- After taking a trip to the Twin Cities this weekend, sophomore defensive back Christyn Lewis has come back and decided to commit to the University of Minnesota where he has been offered a scholarship. Glendora, CA (Football) -- Freshman quarterback Byron Ingram completed a program record 29 passes and sophomore wide receiver Matthew Cheaney had 151 yards receiving (also a program record), but it wasn’t enough as the Fighting Owls failed in their upset bid of #3 Cerritos. Puckett Named Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Glendora, CA (Football) -- Freshman corner back Kevin Puckett Jr. was named the Central Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Citrus’ game against Mt. SAC on Saturday. Puckett picked off two passes, broke up another two, and led the game with nine tackles (eight solo).Full article »
