Glendora, CA - The Owls made strides on Monday as they improved to sixth place at the Moorpark hosted conference event, just one stroke back from fifth place.
Jeff Allen led the Owls for the first time this season, after nearly being left off the tournament squad. "Jeff told me he had a feeling that he would perform well this week," said coach Marsh Shumaker.
Citrus remains in seventh place in the overall standings, with a 3-21 record. Canyons and Santa Barbara lead the pack at 20-4 and Moorpark, who won on Monday, is in third place at 13-11.
