Murrieta, CA (Men's Golf) -- The Citrus College men's golf season came to an official end on Monday as Kyle Mendoza participated in the Southern California Community College Championships at SGCA Golf Course. Earlier in the year, Mendoza posted his best round of the season with a 1-under par 71 at SGCA, but Mendoza faltered in the earlier round to seal his fate.
Mendoza shot a 82 in the morning round, before bouncing back with a 2-over par 74 in the afternoon round. The combined score placed him as tied for 45th place in the 65 person individual field. Mendoza solid play throughout the year was the most consistent factor for the Citrus College men's golf team during the 2007 season. Mendoza was the only Citrus golfer to qualify for the SoCal Championships this year.
