Valencia, CA (Men’s Golf) -- Freshman Ryan Belliston and Robert Parker topped Citrus’ effort at the Canyons Invitational on Monday afternoon. The duo both shot 83’s as the Fighting Owls finished last out of the seven participating WSC teams.
Finishing behind Belliston and Parker was Tim Jenkins who shot an 85, and Mike Verderber and Andrew Nicassio who both shot 86’s. As a team the Fighting Owls shot a combined 423.
Citrus will continue their 2010 season on Wednesday when they host Santiago Canyon in a non-conference match. Tee-time is set for 9:00 AM.
