Smith Impressive in Debut, Owls Finish 6th
Valencia, CA (Men’s Golf) -- Citrus College freshman Brett Smith made his 2012 debut on Monday, and was impressive for the Fighting Owls. Smith fired a team best 78 along with sophomore Shane Favinger in helping lead the Owls to a sixth place finish out of seven competing teams.Full article »

Owls Finish in Strong Sixth in Season Opener
Bakersfield, CA (Men’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Men’s Golf team opened up their 2012 campaign on Monday and Tuesday of this week at the 2012 Larry Carr Invitational hosted by Bakersfield College. The Owls finished in a strong sixth place out of the nine competing teams, finishing just three strokes out of a top three finish.Full article »

Fighting Owls Stand Out at Inland Valley Amateur
Glendora, CA (Men’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Men’s Golf team had three players in the field for the 2011 Inland Valley Amateur Golf Championships this past weekend. Two of the three placed in the Top 10, and one led the entire field after day one.Full article »

Favinger Fairs Well at SoCal Championships
Bermuda Dunes, CA (Men’s Golf) -- Citrus College freshman Shane Favinger represented the Citrus College Men’s Golf team very well at the yesterday’s Southern California Championships. Favinger finished tied for 23rd out of the 78 competing individuals with a two round score of 10 over par.Full article »
