Glendale, CA (Men's Soccer) -- The 2006 Men's Soccer team has had a rough start since the opening of their Western States Conference Schedule, losing all three of their conference games. On Tuesday, the Owls will still winless, but they got one step closer with a 2-2 tie with Glendale College.
In the tie the Owls got off 13 shots and had 9 corner kicks. The first Owls goal came when Pablo Acosta get into the goalie box and drew a foul, setting up a penatly shot for Hugo Seisdedos. Seisdedos, buried the shot in the back of the net for his 5th goal of the season. Later on Matt Brakensiek got a goal when he found himself wide open after a Randall McMurray pass. Goal keeper Felix Andrez had 9 saves on the day.
With the tie, the Owls record moves to 1-7-2 and 0-3-1 in conference play. The Owls will be back home on Friday Ocotber 6 for a 3:00 pm match-up against Moopark College.
