Despite Citrus firing just two shots less than Oxnard, the Fighting Owls were still far away as the Condors more than doubled Citrus’ shots on goal and corner kicks in a 0-1 loss on Friday afternoon. Men's Soccer Struggles Continue Versus GlendaleGlendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- The Citrus College Men’s Soccer team continued their struggles on Friday afternoon when they played host to Glendale College. The Fighting Owls out-shot the visiting Vaqueros by nearly a 3 to 1 margin, but still came up empty handed in a 3-1 loss. OutplayedGlendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- Over the past three seasons there has been no greater nemesis to the Citrus College Men’s Soccer team than LA Mission College. In six meetings, the Eagles have beaten the Fighting Owls five times. After Friday afternoon, that number went up to six times in seven meetings, as Mission outplayed Citrus with a 2-0 win.
