Swim Season Comes To Close At State
Long Beach, CA (Swimming) -- The 2009 Citrus College Swim season came to a close this past weekend at the 2009 CCCAA State Championships. The Fighting Owls went out in style as WSC Swimmer of the Year Weston Locatell finished 2nd in the 200 Butterfly.
Kyle, Locatell Sweep Postseason Honors
Glendora, CA (Swimming) -- Citrus College swimming Head Coach Tim Kyle and sophomore swimmer Weston Locatell swept the Western State Conference Men’s Swimming awards this past weekend.
Men’s Swim Finishes 2nd at WSC Championships
Bakersfield, CA (Swimming) -- Sophomore Weston Locatell swept all three of his events, and the Fighting Owl relay teams finished 2nd in three different events, as the Citrus College men’s swim team finished in 2nd place at the WSC Championships this past weekend at Bakersfield College. The 2nd place finish is the best finish for the men’s team since they tied Cuesta College for 1st place back in 1997.
