Glendora, CA (Track and Field) -- The Citrus College Track and Field team qualified eight individual athletes and four relay teams for this weekends Southern California Preliminaries in Bakersfield, CA. Kenneth Boggs and Jennifer Lawrence headline the group, with each of those two athletes qualifying in two different events.
Boggs will run for the Fighting Owls in the 110 Meter Hurdles and the 400 Meter Hurdles. Boggs won the WSC Championship in the 110 Meter Hurdles. Lawrence will be competing in two separate disciplines as she qualified for the Javelin Throw and the 400 Meter Hurdles. Citrus also qualified relay teams for the men's and women's 4 x 100 and 4 x 400.
