Cerritos, CA (Track and Field) -- The 2008 Citrus College Track and Field season came to a close this weekend, as freshman javelin thrower Jennifer Lawrence competed in the 2008 California Community College State Championships. Ranked 6th coming into the competition, Lawrence ended her season in ninth place with a throw of 32.47 Meters. Lawrence finished just one place out of scoring contention, missing it by just 1.9 meters.
