Glendora, CA (Track and Field) -- The inaugural Citrus College Track and Field Camp is set to being this coming June and July. The camp will service high school students (9th-12th grade) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM over six weeks from June 22-July 30.

Walnut, CA (Track & Field) -- Christopher Pope and Daro Johnson were the only two Citrus athletes to move on to the SoCal Finals after this weekends SoCal Prelims. Pope moves on in the high jump, while Johnson continues in the triple jump.

Walnut, CA (Track and Field) -- Citrus College sophomore Christopher Pope set a new personal best in the high jump this past weekend at the 51st Annual Mt. SAC Relays. Pope cleared 6 feet 8 inches, the fifth best mark in California Community College this year.

Glendale, CA (Track & Field) -- Freshman distance runner Vanessa Esquivel and sophomore thrower Evan D’Oyen both post personal best last Friday for the Fighting Owls at the WSC Event hosted by Glendale College. Esquivel ran the 1500 in a time of 5:04.60, placing her in the top 10 times in the WSC this year, while D’Oyen threw the shot-put for a personal best of 41 feet 5 inches.

Valley Glen, CA (Track & Field) -- The Citrus College Track & Field team took some positive steps on Friday afternoon, as both the men’s and women’s teams scored their highest point totals of the season. The majority of those points would come from the field events, as the women finished third in the four team event with 10 points, and the men fourth with 24.

Moorpark, CA (Track and Field) -- Freshman Christopher Pope led the way for Citrus this past weekend at the Western State Conference event hosted by Moorpark College. Pope had two of the best finishes of any Citrus athlete, finishing in 1st (in a 3-way tie) in the High Jump (6’ 4”), and 5th in the Long Jump (6.02 M).

Cerritos, CA (Track & Field) -- The Citrus College track and field team faced their stiffest competition yet this past weekend, when the headed up the 605 to participate in the Cerritos Invitational.
