Glendora, CA (Volleyball) – Kelly Fink, a sophomore outside hitter for the Citrus College Women’s Volleyball team, was named a COA Student-Athlete of the Month Honorable Kelly Fink recorded 30 kills on .421 kill percentage in Tuesday's 3-1 victory over BakersfieldMention honoree for the month of September on Wednesday. The honor is awarded by the Community College League of California Commission on Athletics (COA) in association with the California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA). 

Fink was named with one other athlete, Calli Manderino of Cypress College, as an honorable mention honoree. The only other honoree was the winner of the award Jeannette Diaz of Cerritos College.

Fink led her team and the WSC with 265 kills (6.5 per game) and a .396 hitting percentage during the month of September. The reigning Western State Conference Player of the Year ranked 4th in the conference during September in digs with 138, while she was 2nd in service aces (23), solo blocks (23), and block assists (55). She has helped her team to a #7 ranking in the state with a 11-1 record overall record and 4-0 conference record through Tuesday October 18, 2006.
