Mitchell Leads Volleyball All-Conference Honors 

Glendora, CA (Volleyball) -- Freshman Lindsey Mitchell headlined the All-Western State Conference list for the Citrus College Volleyball team. Mitchell led the team with 239 kills and was second with 185 digs, and was the lone Citrus representative on the 1st Team list.

Earning 2nd team honors were two more freshmen and a sophomore. Sophomore Daisy Llamas was named to the 2nd team for the second straight year. Llamas followed up her solid freshman campaign by leading the team in blocks with 63 total blocks. Llamas also recorded 91 kills and a .237 kill percentage, the second best mark on the team.

Joining Llamas on the second team were freshman Tatiana Quiocho and Danica Lawrence. Quiocho led the team in digs with 361, and averaged 5.55 digs per set which is the 9th best mark in the entire State. Lawrence had an impressive freshman showing finishing second in blocks (56) and second in kills (136). Lawrence also led the Lady Owls in kill percentage posting a .269 mark.

Rounding out the All-Conference list were freshman Lauren Walsh and sophomore Coco Holliday. Both Walsh (490 assists, 41 blocks) and Holliday (48 kills, 27 blocks) were named to the All-WSC Honorable Mention list.
