El Cajon, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- They say that good things come in threes. That’s good news for the Citrus College Women’s Basketball team as they finished in third place for the third time at a tournament over the past couple of days. After grabbing a third place trophy in the Barstow and LA Pierce Tournaments, the Lady Owls added one more as they took third at the Grossmont Tournament.

Los Angeles, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Having spent the entire first two months of the season on the road, the Citrus College Women’s Basketball team to continued to play away from the friendly confines of The Owl’s Nest when they traveled to take on LA Southwest Friday evening. The Lady Owls struggled yet again and fell 52-66.

Riverside, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team struggled on Wednesday night as they traveled to Riverside City College. Riverside opened the game with a 19-0 run and never looked back as Citrus suffered its third straight loss 75-50.

Woodland Hills, CA (Women’s Basketball)¬ -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team continued to play well early on the season as they participated in the LA Pierce College Tournament over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was the second straight tournament in which the Lady Owls finished in an impressive third place.

Barstow, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team opened their 2009-2010 campaign this past weekend, as they participated in the Barstow Holiday Inn Tournament hosted by Barstow College. The Lady Owls finished in 3rd place after all was said and done looking strong in their first three contests.

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Sophomore's Jessica Nieves, Jazmine Matthews, and Terri Washington have spent the last two seasons helping revitalize the Lady Owls program into a playoff caliber team once again.

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) – Sophomore Shateah West became the first Lady Owl from the 08-09 sophomore class to sign a scholarship offer this past week. West will continue her career at NAIA member Missouri Valley College.
