Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Sophomore's Terri Washington and Jazmine Matthews were both named 1st team All-WSC honorees. For Matthews, it’s her second 1st team All-WSC nod, while Washington was a All-WSC Honorable Mention honoree last year.

Matthews averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game during the 2008-2009 season. Matthews was also the only Lady Owl to start in all 33 games for Citrus.

Washington was without a doubt the best sixth man in the South this season, as she came off the bench in 27 of the 31 games she appeared, averaging a team high 17.8 points per game and was second on the team with 5.4 rebounds per game. That number got even better in conference play, as Washington averaged 20.3 points per game in WSC South play.

Sophomore Jessica Nieves was the only other Lady Owl to earn post season honors. Nieves, who averaged 12.3 points per game and recorded a team high 43 3-pointers, was named an All-WSC Honorable Mention honoree.
