Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team turned the ball over a season high 28 times, and saw a late lead squandered in a 56-59 loss to Riverside on Friday night. Citrus led by as much as seven points with over four minutes to go, and led for all but two minutes and 50 seconds of Friday’s game.

San Luis Obispo, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team has continued to show great strides as the season has gone along. The Lady Owls were ready to take a big step this weekend with their first Tournament Championship since 2007, but fell just shy as they lost to Orange Coast College in overtime by one point, 59-60 in the Championship Game of the 27th Annual Conoco Phillips Invitational.

San Luis Obispo, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball match-up with Cuesta College in the opening round of the 27th Annual Conoco Phillips Invitational hosted by Cuesta College will be broadcast live online with both an audio and video stream. The game will be broadcast by Cuesta’s Randy Scovil.

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Citrus College freshman Ariel Marsh was named the Western State Conference South Division Women’s Basketball Player of the Week last week. It’s the first such honor for Marsh in her young career.

Fullerton, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball suffered its fourth loss of the year on Tuesday evening when it was stung 50-68 by State #1 Fullerton College. Freshmen Shelly Gupilan and Ariel Marsh accounted for 76% of Citrus’ offense in the loss, as the rest of the Lady Owls struggled to score against a tough Hornet squad.

Barstow, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team overcame an opening round loss to #14 Mt. San Jacinto and went on to win the Consolation Prize at the Barstow Holiday Inn Invitational. The Lady Owls were paced by a record setting weekend by freshman guard Ariel Marsh as they went on to pick up their first two victories in the McDonald Era.
