Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team went into Saturday’s important Western State Conference South match-up with LA Valley needing to win the percentage game. The Owls did that in the first half, but saw their field goal percentage dip 15 points in the second half, and LA Valley’s rise 24, in a 53-46 loss to the Monarchs.Full article »

Santa Clarita, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team came out flat on the road on Wednesday and never really recovered. The Owls failed to score for the first four minutes of the game and went on to lose 86-66.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Saturday night’s Western State Conference South Division game in the Owls’ Nest between Citrus College and visiting Glendale College would be close for all of 20 minutes. In the second half, the Owls would turn it into hyper drive on both offense and defense, holding Glendale to just 15.8% shooting and outscoring the Vaqueros 42-18 en route to a 65-40 victory.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- Citrus College sophomore Brianna Barfield was named this week’s Western State Conference South Player of the Week late Tuesday night. It’s the first player of the week nod for a women’s basketball player this year.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Women’s Basketball) -- The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team put together their best performance of the conference season on Wednesday night when they played host to Santa Monica College. It was all about the sharing game for the Owls as they recorded a season high 21 assists and had four players record at least three individual assists in a commanding 72-46 win over the Corsairs.Full article »
