Glendora, CA (Athletics) – In cooperation with Citrus College’s Child Development Center, the Citrus College Athletics program participated in the Giving Program helping needy families have a happy holiday.
A program designed to help those families who may not be able to afford many gifts for Christmas, the Giving Program matches those families with people and departments throughout the Citrus campus. The Athletic Department and each individual team contributed gifts towards three families to help those families out and give them a merry Christmas.
“This is a great way for our department to help out in the community,” said Dean of Physical Education and Athletics Jody Wise. “If we can just make one families Christmas better, than its worth whatever it takes.”
