Glendale, CA (Women's Golf) -- The Citrus College women's golf team placed for the first time this season, finishing fourth out of five teams at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, California on Monday afternoon. The Lady Owls were led in their effort by Caitlin Smith who shot a team high 98.
Finishing behind Smith, was Teresa Chu who finished only two strokes behind Smith with a 100. Rounding out the group was Patty Beard and newcomer Katherine Dahle who shot a 136 and 144 respectively. As a team the Lady Owl's shot a 478 11 strokes ahead of the fifth place Glendale squad.
The Lady Owl's will be traveling to Santa Barbara this next week, as they will participate in the WSC Event hosted by Santa Barbara City College. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM.
