Smith Leads the Charge for Women's Golf 

Glendora, CA (Women's Golf) -- In what has been a slow start for the Citrus College women's golf team, there has been at least one bright spot throughout the young season in the form of sophomore Caitlin Smith. Smith has finished in the top 10 in three of this season four events, and in the top 15 in all four.

After finishing 7th in the first two events of the season, Smith has fallen off a bit in the seond two, finishing 8th with a round of 86 at the WSC Event hosted by Canyons College on Wednesday September 17th, and 13th with a round of 88 at the WSC Event hosted by Glendale College this past Monday.

Finishing close behind her has been freshman Rachel Vago. Vago shot a 97 at Robinson Ranch last week, and came back strong on Monday with a 90 at Tierra Rejada golf course. Rounding out the Citrus' scores has been Kate Dahle (122, 124) and Nichole Bondurant (130,133).

The Lady Owls will continue on with their WSC schedule on September 29th when the travel North for the WSC match hosted by Bakersfield College. Tee-time is set for 10:00 AM.
