Women’s Golf Season Ends at WSC Championships
Ventura, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The 2010 Citrus College Women’s Golf season came to a close on Monday afternoon at the WSC Championships. The Lady Owls finished fifth out of the five competing teams, with freshman Janae Macias leading the pack for Citrus.
Tough Course Leads to Tough Scores for Women’s Golf
Santa Clarita, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team played one of the toughest courses of the season on Monday morning at the WSC Event hosted by Canyons College and it showed in the scores. The Lady Owls posted their second worst team score of the season at the event at Robinson Ranch Golf Course.
Women’s Golf Has Hiccup at WSC Citrus Event
La Verne, CA (Women’s Golf) -- After showing signs of improvement at the WSC Neutral Site Event two weeks ago, the Citrus College Women’s Golf team had a hiccup this past week at the WSC Event hosted by the Fighting Owls at Marshall Canyon Golf Course. After shooting a season best 444 two weeks ago, the Lady Owls came in and shot a 477 on Monday.
Women’s Golf Improves at Neutral Site Event
Solvang, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf showed improvement this week at the WSC Neutral site event at Alisal Ranch Golf Course in Solvang. Nearly every Lady Owl fired their best round of the year, including Janae Macias who became the first Citrus golfer to break 100.
Women’s Golf Toils at WSC Glendale Event
Glendale, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team continued their early season struggles on Monday at the WSC Event hosted by Glendale College at Oak Mount Golf Club. The Lady Owls shot their worst combined team score of the year, with a 580.
Macias Tops Citrus Leader Board
Santa Barbara, CA (Women’s Golf) -- For the second straight match freshman Janae Macias topped the Citrus leader board, this time at the WSC Event hosted by Santa Barbara City College. The Lady Owls finished in fifth place at the event, with a combined team score of 502.
Macias and Del Mundo Lead Women’s Golf at South Coast Invite
Santa Barbara, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team kicked off their 2010 season this weekend at the South Coast Invitational hosted by Santa Barbara City College at Olivas Links Golf Course. The Lady Owls played against some top tier schools and finished fourth out of the five participating WSC colleges.
