Head Coach Tim Tracy
Head Coach Tim Tracey knows Citrus College Soccer, after-all he started both the men’s (1990) and women’s (1996) teams for the Fighting Owls. Tracey’s coaching resume is impressive as it spans over two decades. In those years Tracey has proved himself over and over again by making teams into winners.

Tracey’s collegiate playing days began in 1981 when he played for Citrus rival Mt. Sac and in 1982 earned all-conference honors. When his community college playing days were done, Tracey took it to the next level by playing for Cal Poly Pomona in 1983 and 1984. Once again Tracey garnered conference honors in both collegiate seasons, and was named the team captain in 1984.
When his playing days were done, Tracey began his coaching career where his playing days ended. Tracey was the Assistant Men’s Coach for Cal Poly Pomona from 1987-1989. From there Tracey moved onto Citrus College where he started the men’s program in 1990 and stayed at the helm until 1997.
While serving as men’s coach Tracey also jump-started a women’s program and was the head coach of that program from 1996-1997. Tracy left the college ranks then, and didn’t return until 2004 when he took over an ailing women’s soccer team for the Owls.
Since taking over the Lady Owls just four short seasons ago, the Citrus College soccer team has made great strides. In Tracey’s second season with the team, the Lady Owls went from a 2-18-2 team in 2005, to a team that finished 8-7-6 during the 2006 season. For his efforts, Tracey was named the Western State Conference Coach of the Year. It didn’t stop there however, as last year’s team (2007) set the program record for regular season wins with an impressive 15-4-3 record, just narrowly missing the Southern California playoffs.
While Tracey’s college resume may be impressive his high school and club resume is just as impressive. Tracey served as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach from 1983 until 1994 at Claremont High School. Tracey also serves as the Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach for Claremont High School today, and has done so since 2000.
Through Tracey’s guidance the Wolfpack have made the CIF playoff’s four out of seven seasons. Along with his duties as a high school and college coach, Tracey has served as a Trainer Coach for the Foothill Storm, Alta Loma Aztecs, and Claremont Stars soccer clubs.
Tracey, who has a master’s degree in education, is the owner of 4T Commercial Satellite Services, and has two children a daughter Taylor (18) and a son Jordan (16). Tracey resides with his family in Claremont, CA.
Assistant Coach Brian Dorman

Coach Brian Dorman has played a pivotal role in revitalizing plenty of teams, and he plans to bring that experience to Citrus. Dorman is a Citrus alum having played for the Owls for one year in 1997 before transferring to NCAA Division II Cal Poly Pomona where he played from 1998-2000. While at Cal Poly Pomona, Dorman was a member of the only men’s Bronco squad to have qualified for the NCAA Division II post season tournament in 1998.
After Dorman graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, he went on to become an assistant in the Broncos program for both the men’s and women’s squads. While there from 2001-2002 the women qualified for the C.C.A.A. championship both years, and also led them to a NCAA tournament birth in 2001.
Once he left Cal Poly Dorman took the helm of the San Dimas High School boy’s soccer team. While at San Dimas, he took over a program that had not won a game in over three years, and made them a competitive squad in the area. After spending time 3 years at San Dimas (2003-2006), Dorman arrived at Citrus once again as the assistant coach for the women’s squad.
Along with his assistant coaching position at Citrus Dorman, is a physical education teacher at El Roble Intermediate School in Claremont, CA. In his spare time Dorman loves to golf and play anything competitive. Dorman has wife Yvette and a son Ryan who was born on December 16, 2005.
