Hart broke the record in the second quarter of Citrus’ 11-8 win over Santa Monica. The Lady Owls followed that up with 9-6 win over Cypress. Women’s Water Polo Offense Stifled in Loss to VenturaVentura, CA (Women’s Water Polo) -- The Citrus College Women’s Water Polo team was held to a season low two points in their 7-2 loss to Ventura College on Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Owls were held scoreless in the first half, before recording a goal in each of the final two quarters, as they fell to second place in the WSC. Same Story Different EndingGlendora, CA (Women’s Water Polo) -- For the second time this season, the Citrus College Women’s Water Polo team squared off with Santa Monica College. The first meeting was particularly close, with Citrus taking just a two point victory. Tuesday’s meeting was a completely different ending, as the Lady Owls blitzed the Corsairs 10-3. Women’s Water Polo Takes TwoGlendora, CA (Women’s Water Polo) -- The Citrus College Women’s Water Polo team closed out their 2010 home hosted tournament with two wins. The Lady Owls avenged an earlier loss to San Diego Mesa with an 8-6 victory and then came back and downed Pasadena for the second week in a row 5-1. A Wins SandwichPasadena, CA (Women’s Water Polo) -- The Citrus College Women’s Water Polo team sandwiched a pair of wins around a pair of losses at the Pasadena Bowl Tournament this past weekend. The Lady Owls got a big overtime victory against conference foe Cuesta before dropping back to back contests with Orange Coast and Cerritos, and the finally wrapped up the weekend with a convincing win over Pasadena. After last Wednesday conference opener against LA Valley was postponed in the middle of the third quarter due to lightning, the two teams finally finished the game on Monday when Citrus won 12-6.
