Welcome to the Writing Café

Welcome to the Writing Café, where students can work on any written assignment in a casual and comfortable environment.

Students can come to the Writing Café for help with writing from any class including assignments for essays, research papers/projects, and marketing plans. The Writing Café can also assist with strategies for note taking, reading comprehension, writing lab reports, in-class essay writing, and resume refinement.

The Writing Café is located in the Learning Center, ED 215.

Introducing The Writing Café

 

Please review the Appointment Procedures PRIOR to making an appointment.
Students are allowed a maximum of two (2) one-on-one writing consultations
and two (2) drop-in consultations per week.

For a 45 minute one-on-one writing consultation,

If you can't schedule an appointment, stop by for a 30-minute drop-in consultation
which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.


For your writing consultation, you must
• bring your current student identification card
• scan in at the front desk in ED 215


Writing Café Spring Hours for Appointments and Drop-in:
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
