You will be asked to take two quizzes for this course. Each quiz has a review sheet. Please check below for the link to the review sheets.
Each quiz has a 24 hour period of time within which you can take theĀ 100 point quiz. Please check the schedule for the specific dates for each quiz. You may take the quiz anytime within that 24 hour period that you wish, but not before and not after. The quizzes will appear at 8:00 a.m. on the day it starts and will be taken down exactly 24 hours later (meaning do not chose 8:00 a.m. on the second day, choose 7:00 if you want to leave it to last minute). Please note that this may be subject to change so be sure to check the announcements from the prof regularly.
How it works:
Before the day of the quiz decide when you want to take the quiz. You will be allowed one hour to take the quiz. No more than that! It is up to you when you take it. That means if you want to take it first thing in the morning fine, you want to take it three in the morning fine, whenever you want within the 24 hour period. But please plan accordingly. If you forget or choose not to take the quiz within the period of time there will be NO make ups allowed for any reason.
You will be using a program called Chi Tester to take the quiz. You will need a computer with reliable internet access. This means you can take the quizzes from home, work, school, or the local coffee house, it is up to you. Please watch for a message board posting under announcement from the prof on how to use chi tester in the week before the first quiz!
I know you are thinking, aha she won't know if I cheat! That is correct I will have no way of knowing if you are using your books or not. Here is the tricky part. You DO NOT have enough time to cheat. If you do not study you will fail the quizzes no question. You have only one hour to take each quiz. If you go one second over the hour you will receive a zero for that quiz. Let me repeat this, chi tester has a time stamp that I can see, IF YOU TAKE MORE THAN ONE HOUR FOR YOUR QUIZ I WILL NOT GRADE IT AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO.
So, the moral of the story is: it will take you more than 45 minutes to look up the answer for each question which will result in a zero so you need to study.
