There are a number of resources available to students who wish to improve their writing skills. Start at the Citrus College Learning Center on the second floor of the ED building. There are several helpful handouts located there. Once at the Learning Center, don't be shy about using Citrus College's tutorial services. The folks there are friendly and want to help students improve their academic skills. Also check the library catalog or ask a librarian for books on essay writing skills. Indeed, any serious student should purchase a book on college-level writing skills. The Citrus College book store contains a number of selections on this subject.
