Female electrician working on-siteElectronics technology is a two-year program which may be applied toward a four-year degree in engineering technology. Employment opportunities are available in many areas, including research and development, industrial maintenance, field service, aerospace and commercial systems testing.

Upon completion of the Electronics Technician Certificate, the student is prepared to take the examination for a first class commercial license from the Federal Communications Commission and can be employed as an electronics technician.
