Citrus Community College District prohibits the unlawful possession, use or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees on college property and as part of any college sponsored or sanctioned event. The use of tobacco is prohibited in all District buildings and vehicles. (Citrus Community College District Board Policies 3550 and 3560, Education Code 87335, Standards of Student Conduct, and U.S. Public Law 101-226).
Any student or employee in violation of this policy is subject to disciplinary action up to, and including, expulsion from college or termination from employment for violations of the standard code of conduct. The decision to take disciplinary action in any such instance rests with the Board of Trustees after consideration of the recommendation of the Superintendent/President of the college.
