o Once a class has reached its enrollment capacity, the status of that class will change from "Open" to "Closed."

o When a class closes, a waitlist may open, allowing you the option to place yourself on the list. Trying to register for the closed class does not place you into an open waitlist, you have to select to add yourself to the waitlist.

o The waitlist has a limit of 20 spots. Exception: Classes that need special approvals, such as cosmetology, nursing or music may have a different limit. Check with the department for information. Some classes have no waitlist.

o If you are the first student on the waitlist, you will be the first to have the opportunity to register; if you are the second person on the waitlist, you will be the next, and so on.

o Students on the waitlist will be contacted via their Citrus College student e-mail address if a seat opens. To activate your e-mail and/or to set up automatic forwarding to your personal email, go to http://www.citruscollege.edu/tecs/studentemail

o You may view your waitlist position on the WingSpan registration page by clicking on "Student Detail Class Schedule."

o Once you are notified via your Citrus College email address, you will have 24 hours to register for the class through WingSpan.

o To register for the class during your 24-hour window, please consult the Waitlist Manual at http://citruscollege.edu/ar/waitlist/Documents/HowtoWaitlist.pdf

o If you miss the 24-hour window to register, you will be removed from the waitlist.

o When you register for a class or are removed from the waitlist, the waitlist will have an opening and another student may join the list.

o The waitlist will be frozen on the Thursday prior to the beginning of the term and you will not be able to add to the waitlist or to register from the waitlist.

o From the first day of class forward, you will need an add code from your instructor to register for the class. Add codes will be issued by the instructors at their discretion. Instructors may use the waitlist order to issue add codes.

o Being on a waitlist does not guarantee that you will get a spot in the class.
