Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- The Citrus College Men’s Soccer team had a tough task on Friday afternoon, as they hosted Canyons College and the conference’s leading scorer in Andres Bueno. Bueno was exactly what he was advertised as he rocked the Fighting Owls for four goals in a 5-1 loss for Citrus.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Volleyball) -- It's been said of baseball and football that they are games of inches. That adage could also be applied to volleyball. The best example of that was in Citrus’ three set loss to Bakersfield on Friday night. All it was, was a few inches that separated Citrus from possibly upsetting the first place team in conference, instead the inches led to a wide chasm as the Lady Owls were swept in straight sets.Full article »

Women’s Water Polo Advances to WSC Championships Game
Valley Glen, CA (Women’s Water Polo)-- The Citrus College Women’s Water Polo team has advanced to the WSC Championship game, thanks to a 10-6 win over Cuesta College in the WSC semi-finals on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Brittany Orduno and freshman Megan Turner each had three goals a piece to lead the Lady Owls to victory.Full article »

Men’s B-Ball Pre-Season #1 Again
Glendora, CA (Men’s Basketball) -- What does 63 wins in two seasons and back to back WSC South Championships get you these days? Well if you are Head Men’s Basketball Coach Rick Croy and the Citrus College Men’s Basketball team, it gets you a lot of respect. That respect was shown this week, as the Fighting Owls were named the pre-season #1 team in the South for the second straight year.Full article »
