Welcome to the Citrus College Distance Education Home Page. Distance education refers to instruction that is delivered to students at a distance from their instructor, normally by computer via the Internet.
These credit courses are a convenient alternative to on-campus classes for students who live out of the local area, have transportation issues, physical limitations, or family/work responsibilities that interfere with attending classes on campus. Oftentimes, students enroll in distance education courses as a way to advance toward their degree, while simultaneously working and/or taking care of their families.

**Out-of-state students who reside outside of California will not be able to register for online classes. Only out-of-state students who reside in California may register for online classes. Federal law requires that colleges obtain permission from the state in which student resides before offering online education out of state. The California Community College Chancellor’s Office is currently working on state-to-state authorization which would allow out-of-state students to take advantage of our online education. Active military personal are exempt.
Parking permits are required for all on-campus parking. You may purchase a daily permit at the information booth located at the main entrance off Citrus Avenue. For more information regarding directions or parking, call the Citrus College Campus Safety Department at (626) 914-8611.
