Welcome! You are either enrolled in, or you are interested in enrolling in the Counseling 145 class for fall 2011. As described in the class schedule, this course, through personal exploration, occupational research and the study of contemporary work issues, students will increase their understanding of the relationship of the individual to the economic community and develop individual career plans.

First, it is important that you send me an email on the first day of class. You will need to use your Official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. You must have access to your email account prior to starting the class.
The first day of class is August 29, 2011. If you are enrolled in the class, please email me and provide me with your full name.
Next, go to the class site on Blackboard. You will be able to access Blackboard within 12 hours after you have registered and paid your fees. However, you will not be able to view this course until the first day of class.
- Your WingSpan ID becomes your Blackboard Username
- Your WingSpan PIN (Personal Identification Number) becomes your Blackboard password
- To change your PIN/password requires, change it in WingSpan
- Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis
Once you get to the Blackboard welcome page, click on the Career/Life Planning course link on the right, and you will go to the course site. Familiarize yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concern. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
