    Welcome to the BUS 130 Introduction to Business DE class. In this course you will be introduced to concepts including marketing, management, securities, production, accounting, finance, human resources, economics, and other topics. This is a 3-unit course and it is transferable. See Syllabus for details.

    Details regarding the class are set forth at the class web site. When you go there (see instructions below), pay particular attention to the syllabus and the weekly assignment schedule. Your grade for the course will be based upon the following:

    *You must come to the Citrus College campus to take both the Midterm and the Final Exams.
    Details are as follows:
    Midterm Exam: Saturday, May 18, 8:00AM - 9:00AM, LB 207. Chapters 1-9.
    Final Exam: Saturday, June 8, 8:00AM - 9:15AM, LB 207. Chapters 10-20.

    Check your email account. You will need to use your official Citrus College issued email account. Your email account was established when you registered for classes. All emails sent to you in this class will be sent to your Citrus email address, so you must have access to your email account prior to the start of the term.

    Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis
    Once you get to the Blackboard welcome page, click on the Introduction to Business course link on the right, and you will go to the course site. Familiarize yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concerns.

    Get your textbook, and get started with your assignments. Buy the required textbook - Understanding Business, 10th Edition; Nickels, McHugh and McHugh; McGraw-Hill. Once you have your textbook, get started with your assignments. You have assignments due in the first week of the term, so get started right away. Do not fall behind in your work.
