Welcome! You are either enrolled in, or you are interested in possibly enrolling in the Elements of Marketing DE class. As described in the class schedule, this is a foundation course in marketing that includes such topics as moving goods, services, and ideas from producer to consumer. Topics include: functions and institutions of marketing research and customer motivation; buying, selling, pricing and competition; transportation, storage and packaging; banking, communication and insurance.

Detail regarding the course are set forth on the class website. When you go there, pay particular attention to the syllabus and the weekly assignment schedule.

We will cover one chapter per week. There are two exams, a midterm and final exam and you must come to the on campus Testing Center to take them. The exams and will be administered via a computer.

It is important that you send me an email. If you are enrolled in the class, please email me now. You will need to use your official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. You must have access to your email account prior to starting the class.

Once you get to the Blackboard welcome page, click on the Elements of Marketing course link on the right, and you will go to the course site. Familiarize yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concerns. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
