You will need to use your official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. MEASURES OF STUDENT SUCCESS
Exams and Assignments
There will be four exams in addition to the final exam. No makeup exams will be given, however, your lowest exam score will be replaced with final exam (if higher).
The Citrus College Testing Center is located on the 2nd floor of the ED building.
TEST #1 - 3/20 or 3/24 covering Chapters 1 and 2
TEST #2 - 4/21 or 4/22 covering Chapters 3 and 4
TEST #3 - 5/1 or 5/5 covering Chapters 5 and 6
TEST #4 - 5/22 or 5/27 covering Chapters 7 and 8
FINAL EXAM - June 9 or June 10 covering Chapters 1 to 9
NOTE: All exams must be taken on campus in the Citrus College Testing Center during the indicated time period. Generally you will have two day window to take the exam.
NOTE: The final exam is comprehensive and cumulative.
Homework will be computer based. Homework will be done using "MyMathLab." Homework must be taken seriously as the homework will help prepare you for the exams.
There will be 12 assignments. All assignments must be submitted by the indicated due dates. No late assignments will be accepted.
- Go to http://www.pearsonmylabandmastering.com in your web browser.
- Under Register, click Student.
- Enter the Course ID exactly as provided by your instructor and click Continue. Your course information appears on the next page. If it does not look correct, contact your instructor to verify the Course ID.
- Click Access Code. Enter your Access Code in the boxes and click Next. If you do not have an access code and want to pay by credit card or PayPal, select the access level you want and follow the instructions. You can also get temporary access without payment for 17 days.
- Once your registration is complete, a Confirmation page appears. You will also receive this information by email. Make sure you print the Confirmation page as your receipt. Remember to write down your username and password. You are now ready to access your resources!
Assistance: In mathematics many topics build from previous topics, therefore it is extremely important for you to seek extra help with your mathematics if need be. The Mathematics Study Center located in MA 127 is an excellent place to study. it is staffed by student aides who can help you if you encounter difficulties with the material. The Learning Assistance Center, located in the ED building offers free tutoring sessions. You may also see me during my office hours or make an appointment to see me at another time. I am here to help you succeed. Do not hesitate to contact me if you are encountering difficulties.

All work must be your own. You may discuss the material in the course and help one another; however, any work you hand in for a grade must be your own. If you have any questions about this, please see me immediately. Cheating will not be tolerated. Any student caught cheating will be given at least a zero on the assignment or exam and will be referred to the Dean of Student Affairs for disciplinary action. You may be given an F for the course and/or be removed from the class. Repeat offenders may suffer expulsion from the college.
WARNING: If you are not registered in MyMathLab by March 4, then you will be dropped from the course. If you are inactive in Course Compass or MyMathLab for two weeks then you will be dropped from the course or if the drop deadline has passed then you will be assigned a "FW" in the course.
