This course is a general education course that requires a lot of work; for each 3-unit course, it is recommended that a student ought to devote 135 hours to this course. Please do not enroll in this course unless you are committed to complete it.
Welcome to our class! This class starts February 19, so starting reading the assignment and schedule links and follow its directions. Failure to complete each week's assignments on time may result in being dropped from this course. Please note our required on-campus speech presentation dates and times; you must be present for the entire class meeting time. Failure to present your speech on our required speaking dates will result in failure of this course. It is your responsibility to attend the entire class period on our required meeting dates.

Be sure to check the assignment link and complete all assignments for week one. Week one's assignment is due Sunday, by midnight. Failure to complete all the weekly assignments may result in being dropped from the course.

You will need to use your official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. You must have access to your email account prior to starting the class.
- Your WingSpan ID becomes your Blackboard Username
- Your WingSpan PIN (Personal Identification Number) becomes your Blackboard password
- To change your PIN/password requires, change it in WingSpan
- Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis
Once you get to the Blackboard welcome page, click on the Public Address course link on the right, and you will go to the course site. Familiarize yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concerns. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
