| Mandatory class meetings on the following Thursdays for students wishing to receive a CPR card: July 12 and July 26 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm in PE 138. There will be a $35.00 fee for this certification. On the days that class does not meet, students will complete assignments in the distance education format (online). |
Welcome! You are either enrolled in, or you are interested in enrolling in the KIN 177 online course for summer. As described in the class schedule, this course complies with requirements as set forth by the American National Red Cross for first aid responding to emergencies. Students will receive the Responding to Emergencies and adult/child/infant CPR cards.
EMAIL ACCOUNTS
You will need to use your Official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. You must have access to your email account prior to starting the class.
First, it is important that you send me an email. If you are enrolled in the class, please email me now. Provide me with your full name.
Next, in the class web site http://citruscollege.blackboard.com, review all materials by clicking on the navigation items on the left side of the browser window, and familiarize yourself with the course. Pay particular attention to the syllabus section and the assignment section. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments. A major key to your success in this course will be keeping up with both the reading and the other assignments.
- Your WingSpan ID becomes your Blackboard Username
- Your WingSpan PIN (Personal Identification Number) becomes your Blackboard password
- To change your PIN/password requires, change it in WingSpan
- Data will be transferred from WingSpan to Blackboard on a regular basis
Once you get to the Blackboard welcome page, click on the First Aid- Responding to Emergencies course link on the right, and you will go to the course site. Familiarize yourself with the course site and if you have any questions please email your instructor with your concerns. Get your textbook and get started with your initial assignments.
