How It Works
- Obtain a desk side container for paper recycling at your desk and be responsible for emptying its contents into the recycling bags located in or near your office.
To obtain a Desk Side Recycling Box, set up a recycling bag system, or to get more information about the program, please call the Supervisor of Environmental Health Programs at extension 8704.
- Custodians regularly empty the green and white bags and return them to the bag stand, ready for use again the next day. The bags are emptied into green three cubic yard locking containers.
- The Supervisor of Environmental Health Programs administers the overall program, provides and replaces the containers, monitors the paper bins, and handles special request pickups when needed such as end-of-the-year file cleaning.
