Position/Description: Student Assistant
Required skills: Must have excellent communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff. Must like to clean! Must be familiar with Windows 10 Operating System/Microsoft Office 365 and Citrus logins for network, email, Canvas, Wingspan, etc., as well as reliable, courteous, and have the ability to follow directions in a changing environment. Must have basic knowledge and understanding of filing according to the Dewey Decimal System. (Note: A Dewey Decimal filing test and basic computer skills test will be given)
Job duties: Assist students, faculty, and staff with checking materials in/out of the library using an automated circulation system, shelve, shelf-read, and shift items in the collection, produce Photo ID cards, issue Class Pass Bus passes, clean assigned areas to maintain an orderly environment.
