Costa Mesa Architectural Firm Sponsors Citrus College Fundraiser

by Rachel White

R2A Architecture, a full-service architecture, planning and interior design firm located in Costa Mesa, will once again sponsor Citrus College Foundation’s annual food and wine tasting event, A Taste of Autumn.  The event will take place on Sunday, October 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. on the college’s campus.

R2A Architecture has sponsored A Taste of Autumn for the past four years.

“We are able to give back to the community by supporting the Citrus College Foundation,” said Louise Runge, chief financial officer for R2A Architecture.  “The proceeds from the event provide scholarships to students who may not have the opportunity to attend college without financial aid.  This event is more important than ever because financial aid from the state and federal level is being cut or reduced.”

R2A Architecture provides architectural services to many school districts throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County as well as medical facilities, commercial and tenant improvements, research and development facilities, learning resource centers, and historic preservation and rehabilitation projects.

“While attending A Taste of Autumn, we are able to interact with a wide variety of individuals from many types of businesses throughout the community,” Runge said.

A Taste of Autumn is one of the San Gabriel Valley’s premier food and wine tasting events.  Many of the area’s top restaurants and wineries are scheduled to participate.  The event includes a silent auction, an art exhibit and sale, and entertainment provided by the Citrus Singers, Citrus College Jazz Combo and Night Shift.  Proceeds from A Taste of Autumn help fund scholarships and programs that benefit Citrus College students.

Tickets are $80 per person.  To reserve your tickets, please call the Citrus College Foundation at (626) 914-8825.
