Citrus College Earth Day Celebration to Include Well-Known Speaker, Unique Workshops

What:             

Join Citrus College as it celebrates Mother Earth!  The first-ever Citrus College Earth Day Celebration will include a variety of workshops with topics ranging from sustainable building and living to the Natural History of Glendora.  An e-waste drop off, tire pressure check station, and many more fun and informative environmental activities will also be featured.

Award-winning scientist and conservationist Dr. Biruté M.F. Galdikas will be the keynote speaker at the event.  Galdikas, the world’s foremost authority on the orangutan, will speak on the topic “Going Green by Saving Orangutans and the Tropical Forest.”
