Application Deadline Extended for Citrus College Foundation’s Talent Showcase

by Stacy Armstrong

Don’t miss your opportunity to win $1,000, perform before an expected audience of 1,400 people, and be mentored by Hollywood professionals!

Local performers are encouraged to submit their registration forms for Valley’s Got Talent, the Citrus College Foundation’s fundraiser and talent competition.  Modeled after some of today’s most popular television programs, this special show is designed to highlight the best amateur singers, dancers, and musicians in the area.

The deadline to register has been extended to December 10.  Auditions will take place December 15 and 16, at which point 20 finalists will be selected to perform and compete for a grand prize of $1,000.  The first runner-up will receive $500 in cash.

In addition to performing before a large audience during the Valley’s Got Talent show on January 30, 2011, finalists will also be mentored and critiqued by professional record producers, actors and songwriters.

There is no fee to participate in the competition and the Valley’s Got Talent show is free to the public.
