Citrus College Celebrates Opening of Technology Engineering and Technician Development Facility

Citrus College recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Technology Engineering and Technician Development Facility. Government representatives and community dignitaries joined Citrus College faculty, staff, students, and members of the Citrus Community College District Board of Trustees at the building dedication ceremony held Tuesday, September 17. The new complex houses Citrus College’s automotive technology, heating and air conditioning, and administration of justice programs, as well as the administration offices of the Career, Technical and Continuing Education Division.
The Citrus College Technology Engineering and Technician Development Facility includes the 15,047 square foot Technology Engineering (TE) building and the 16,642 square foot Technician Development (TD) building. The TE building provides office space, classrooms, and a conference room. The TD building features 31 automotive bays with laboratory areas for engine management and emissions, tires and suspensions, and drive train systems. It also includes a state-of-the-art engine laboratory and an emissions testing station.
