Emcee Announced for Citrus College Foundation Talent Show
By Stacy Armstrong

The Citrus College Foundation recently announced that one of the entertainment industry’s most sought-after voiceover professionals will emcee their fundraiser.

David Jeremiah has voiced advertisements for some of the world’s best known companies, such as eHarmony, Craftsman Tools, Diet Coke, American Airlines, and Walmart.  Now, he is lending his skills to Valley’s Got Talent, a talent competition that will be held in the Haugh Performing Arts Center on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 2 p.m.

Jeremiah will be joined on stage by comedian Mike Schaub.  A 35-year resident of Glendora, Schaub is best known for creating the “Comedy Idol” show that ran for five seasons at The Improv comedy club.

Modeled after some of today’s most popular television programs, Valley’s Got Talent is designed to highlight the best amateur entertainers in the area.  At the same time, proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Citrus College programs and scholarships.

Admission prices were recently reduced from $20 per ticket to $10 per ticket.  An opportunity drawing for a chance to win a 7-night stay at any Trading Places resort will also be held.  Opportunity drawing tickets are $20 apiece or 10 tickets for $100.

For more information on Valley’s Got Talent, visit www.citruscollege.edu or call (626) 914-8825.
