Tickets Still Available for Citrus College Foundation’s Talent Show
By Stacy Armstrong

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to attend this month’s talent showcase hosted by the Citrus College Foundation.

Tickets are still available for Valley’s Got Talent, a fundraiser and talent competition taking place at the Haugh Performing Arts Center on Sunday, January 30, 2011.  Admission prices were recently reduced from $20 per ticket to $10 per ticket.

Modeled after some of today’s most popular television programs, this special show is designed to highlight the best amateur entertainers in the area.  At the same time, proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Citrus College programs and scholarships.

Last month, aspiring performers from throughout Southern California auditioned for a chance to perform at this special event, be judged by three industry professionals, and compete for a grand prize of $1,000.  The final 20 acts were recently selected and include singers, dancers, music groups, and an extreme martial artist/acrobat.

In addition to featuring exciting entertainment, the Valley’s Got Talent event will also include an opportunity drawing for a chance to win a 7-night stay at any Trading Places resort.  Opportunity drawing tickets are $20 apiece or 10 tickets for $100.

For more information on Valley’s Got Talent, visit www.citruscollege.edu or call (626) 914-8825.
