Why Adapted Testing is Provided
The Adapted Testing Office was established to comply with federal and state legislation requiring community colleges to provide an equitable testing opportunity for students with documented disabilities and to offer Citrus College faculty a confidential, reliable service. Although professors may personally provide testing accommodations to students, the Adapted Testing Service may provide the most efficient and convenient method for all concerned. The Adapted Testing Service is provided through the Testing Center.

After careful review of disability documents, the DSP&S counselor/learning disabilities specialist provides the student with an Adapted Testing Certification which designates the accommodations that are allowable due to educational limitations.
