To be eligible for financial aid a student must meet the ability to benefit (ATB) requirement. This means that in order to be eligible for financial aid a student must satisfy one of the following requirements;
1. Have a High School dipolma, General Education (GED) Certificate or it's equivalent; or
2. Successfully complete the Citrus College full assessment. By successfully completing the full assessment it will fulfill the ability to benefit (ATB) requirement; or

3. A student is considered to have the ability to benefit from education or training offered upon satisfactory completion of six credit hours (or the equilvalent coursework) that are applicable toward a degree or certificate offered by the institution.
