The South Coast Higher Education Council (SCHEC) conducts an annual scholarship competition that provides funding for students transferring from SCHEC community colleges to SCHEC four-year institutions. (Citrus College is a SCHEC community college.)
Those who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for a SCHEC scholarship during the application period:
- Currently enrolled in a SCHEC institution and will be transferring to one of the following SCHEC four-year college/university or professional school during the 2009-2010 academic year:

CSU, Fullerton
CSU, Long Beach
CSPU, Pomona

Columbia College
Concordia University
DeVry University
Hope International University
Loma Linda University

Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management
Southern California University of Health Sciences
Touro University International (TUI)
Trinity Law School
UC, Irvine
UC, Riverside
University of La Verne
University of Redlands, Orange County
Vanguard University
Webster University
Whittier College
- Have a 2.5 or higher minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA).
International and AB 540 students are not eligible for this scholarship.
