COURSES
Students may earn 3 to 6 units of transferable credit and may choose from the following courses:
BUS 130 – INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS (CSU/UC) 3 UNITS*
Introduction to Business is a foundation course in business administration. This course is recommended for all students planning further study in this field. Lecture, discussion and problems involve such topics as business finance, personnel, production, distribution, government regulations, and managerial controls.
BUS 185 – ELEMENTS OF MARKETING (CSU) 3 UNITS*
This course focuses on the moving of goods, services, and ideas from producer to consumer. Topics include: functions and institutions of marketing; marketing research and customer motivation; buying, selling, pricing and competition; transportation, storage and packaging; banking, communication, and insurance.
*54 hours arranged. Students attend three Saturdays of instruction prior to departure: May 16, May 30, June 6.
